MANILA—More than 4,000 passengers were left stranded in various ports in Bicol and the Visayas due to Tropical Depression Crising.

In its latest advisory, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) announced that a total of 4,525 passengers, 379 rolling cargoes, 35 vessels, and 11 motor bancas were stranded in Bicol, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas and Western Visayas as of 12 noon Saturday.

A total of 2,007 passengers, 45 rolling cargoes, 15 vessels, and three motor bancas were stranded in Central Visayas, particularly in Cebu and Tagbilaran.

In the Bicol region, 929 passengers, 193 rolling cargoes, 13 vessels, and four motor bancas were stranded in the provinces of Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate and Camarines Sur.

Some 1,067 passengers, 107 rolling cargoes, four vessels, and one motor banca were stranded in Ormoc and Catbalogan in the Eastern Visayas region.
