MANILA—Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and rest of the country, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hourforecast released Saturday afternoon.

Ridge of a high-pressure area is extending across Northern and Central Luzon, noted PAGASA.

PAGASA also said the easterlies were affecting eastern sections of Southern Luzon, of the Visayas and of Mindanao.

According to PAGASA, moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon while winds from the east to northeast are likely over rest of Luzon and the Visayas.

Coastal waters in such areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, noted PAGASA.

“Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas,” PAGASA added.
