Isolated rainshowers likely to prevail ’til Thursday
MANILA –Isolated rainshowers may continue to prevail over most parts of the archipelago until Thursday as the easterlies and the northeast monsoon continue to affect the country, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Wednesday afternoon.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains might prevail over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos region.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from northeast will prevail over Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds would be light to moderate coming from east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, the agency said.
