MANILA –Lenovo Philippines has launched its latest project Think University which aims to provide schools with the latest technology to enable school administrators and teachers to have an efficient method of communicating with students.

Lenovo Philippines Country Manager Michael Ngan believes that the initiative will empower the youth through education and help them experience a richer kind of learning.

“We hope that our devices will help these universities and colleges in delivering the right response to the changing needs of the students,” he said.

“Higher learning institutions in Philippines should consider joining Lenovo’s Think University in order to have a technological competitive advantage with regards to re-designing curriculum and classroom instruction,” said Christine M. Magturo, Systems Administrator, FEU Diliman.

Lenovo recently signed with Colegio de San Agustin-Binan and FEU Diliman for the donation of 10 units each of ThinkCenter Tiny.

“The donation of the ThinkCenter Tiny will help the school in providing additional fund and the chance of a free laptop for those teachers enrolled in getting a Master’s Degree (MBA). Lenovo’s Think University brings many privileges to those who participate in it,” Sheree Rosario-Gaylican, Senior High School ICT Strand Coordinator, CSA Binan said.

The ThinkCenter Tiny is a truly powerful enterprise desktop, featuring the latest Intel® platform. Lenovo® provides the latest web-based desktop management platform and when it comes to reliability, think ‘high’ thanks to Citrix, VMware and Microsoft protocol certifications plus innovative ICE technology.
