AirAsia offers special 50-hour flash sale to all ASEAN destinations

KUALA LUMPUR –AirAsia Bhd is offering a special 50-hour flash sale with up to 50 per cent off to all ASEAN destinations throughout its extensive route network in conjunction with Visit ASEAN@50 Campaign.

“The booking is open from Feb 15-17 this year, for travel between Sept. 5 and Nov. 23, 2017, with low fares to all 10 countries –Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam,” it said in a statement Tuesday.

The airline said flash sale would be available across the region and bookings could be made through airasia.com as well as the AirAsia mobile app.

AirAsia said it has also launched the ‘Live Life Unexpected’ Campaign to encourage travellers to live the unique ASEAN experience through its network of 80 destinations across Southeast Asia to support the year-long Visit Asean@50 initiative as the ASEAN Airline Partner.

“Through this, AirAsia will be implementing monthly promotions with low fares across all markets with the 50 percent flash sale to kick-start the Visit Asean@50 campaign,” it said.

Head of Commercial, Spencer Lee, said as the airline partner, AirAsia hoped to promote ASEAN as a single yet diverse destination to as many people as possible.

“Being a truly ASEAN airline, we are the only airline to fly directly to all ten countries and we are certain that we will contribute significantly to the target of 121 million tourist arrivals into the region this year in celebration of ASEAN’s 50th anniversary.

“With an exciting line-up of 50 festivals and 50 most unforgettable travel experiences jointly developed by national tourism organisations in ASEAN for the Visit ASEAN@50 campaign, there is no better time than now to explore the region,” he said.

The airline said guests could also enjoy flights within the region at fixed rates through the AirAsia Asean Pass.
