BORACAY ISLAND, Aklan—This resort island will once again host local and international kiteboarders this February.

Scheduled on February 18 to 20, the island will host the third leg of the International Container Terminal Services, Inc. (ICTSI) Philippine Kiteboarding Tour Season 4.

It will be held in Bulabog Beach, the sports beach located on the other side of Boracay’s more famous White Beach.

The tour, organized by the Philippine Kiteboarding Association, is expected to be participated in by male and female kiteboarders from all over the world.

Categories include twin tip race (masters), novice twin tip race, freestyle and hangtime.

The fourth year of the PKA tour kicked off in Cuyo Island, Palawan in November last year.

The second leg in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island in Cebu was held last January 13 to 15

This year’s tour will finish at Cagbalete Island in Mauban, Quezon.

Kiteboarding is an extreme water sport where riders propel themselves thru the water on a wakeboard or surfboard harnessed to a large kite.
