MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The country’s first and largest trade and consumer show dedicated to the promotion and development of cycling, the PhilBike Expo, is all set for its second annual run on Oct. 3 to 4 at the SMX Convention Center, Halls 3-4 at the SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City.

Phil-Bike Convention Inc., which organized the PhilBike Expo, is expected to surpass its crowd count of 10,000 at its inaugural two-day show last year at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.  Three of the sports’ biggest superstars: Vittorio Brumotti of Italy, Spaniard Viki Gómez, and Matthias Dandois of France are on its way to demonstrate breathtaking stunts and workshops together with local biking enthusiasts.

Gómez and Dandois are also slated to judge the National BMX Freestyle Championships – advanced category during the three-day affair.  Sanctioned by the Asian Extreme Sports Federation of the Philippines, the competition offers Filipino bikers the chance to represent the Philippines in international meets.
