#AlDub beats #PapalVisit, sets PH record on most tweets

MANILA – #AlDub love team makes history once again as the hashtag #AlDubMaiDenHeaven reached more than 3.5 million tweets last August 29, merely 21 hours from posting time.

The #AlDubMaiDenHeaven now holds that Philippine record after besting the 3.3 million tweets posted for the #PapalVisit last January 2015.

Aside from that, #AlDub is also the first love team in the country to achieve and surpass three million tweets.

The records show that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza or Yaya Dub, are currently two of the hottest names in the industry despite the fact that they have not met yet.

To show their appreciation, both stars used their respective social media accounts to thank the AlDub Nation.
