Ai-Ai delas Alas has no marriage plans yet with non-showbiz boyfriend

MANILA – Kapuso actress-comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas opted to keep her present relationship with non-showbiz boyfriend Gerald Sibayan private, as she had already learned from experience with her estranged husband Jed Salang who was publicly known.

“Ayoko kasi, di ba, sinabi ko na nga nun, na after ‘yung isa, ayoko na masyadong niri-reveal yung lovelife ko,” Ai-Ai said in a Philippine Entertainment Portal report.

(I don’t like [talking about my present relationship] because like I said before, that after [my relationship] with the other guy, I no longer want to reveal [details of] my lovelife.)

“Kasi nagugulo, e. Okay na yung masaya kami, tahimik.

Masaya yung pamilya namin (Because it only gets complicated. It’s already okay that we’re happy, peaceful. Our families are happy)” she added.

Happy in love with her 21-year-old boyfriend, the actress-comedienne was asked if she had plans of remarrying.

“Dati kasi pinipilit ko yung mga bagay. Ngayon siguro hindi na. Hayaan na lang natin ang panahon at si Lord ang mag-decide kung ipapakasal Niya pa ako o hindi,” she said.

(Before, I insisted on things. Maybe now, I will not do so. Let’s just let it be and let God decide whether he’d still allow me to remarry or not.

“Kung hindi, okay lang. ‘Pag meron, oo, kasi siyempre bilang Katoliko, nasa pitong Sakramento na kailangan yung Sacrament of Marriage,” she added. “Para fully… wala akong kasalanan pag humarap ako sa Panginoon.”

(If not, it’s okay. If there will be [an opportunity], yes, because of course as a Catholic, the Sacrament of Marriage is in the Seven Sacraments… So I that I will not have sin when I face the Lord.)
