Marvin Agustin to help to Jiro Manio

MANILA — Actor Marvin Agustin, offered to help former child star Jiro Manio.

Agustin and Manio played as brothers in the movie series “Ang Tanging Ina.” Comedian Ai ai delas Alas played as their mother in the movie.

In an Instagram post, delas Alas shared a photo showing her exchange of messages with Agustin.

The two were talking about Manio and Agustin offered to help him.

“Opo. Kahit itrain ko pa sya, kahit ano gusto niya position. I’m praying na magtuloy tuloy na recovery nya,” Agustin said.

(Yes. I will train him, no matter what position he wants. I’m praying for his continuous recovery.)

“Okay mama. Balitaan mo na lang ako. Sabihin mo kay Jiro may kuya siya na naghihintay sa kanya at ready na ready tumulong. Iyakap mo na lang po ako,” Agustin added.

Manio, who was reported to be suffering from depression, was found roaming and begging for food at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 in Pasay.
