LOOK: Sen. Cynthia Villar joins PNR test-run

Sen. Cynthia Villar, Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Government Corporations and Public Enterprises, joined Philippine National Railways (PNR) officials at the trial run of the commuter line from the Tutuban station in Manila to Sta. Rosa City, Laguna on Friday (June 19, 2015).

Villar said she has high hopes PNR will be able to deliver its promise for an improved and safe service when the commuter line becomes fully operational.

Villar is also the principal sponsor of the law extending the corporate life of the Philippine National Railways by another 50 years
