Marian to give up projects because of pregnancy

MANILA — Now that she is an expectant mother, Marian Rivera said she will give up some of her projects.

Rivera was quoted in an article published by the entertainment site, Pep, saying that she will have to prioritize her pregnancy.

“As long as hindi naman ako nahihirapan at compromise naman na hindi ako masyadong puyat at hindi mabibigat ‘yung mga eksena ko, sabi naman ng OB ko, okay naman. As long as dati ko pa ginagawa ‘yan, puwede ko pa rin siya gawin kahit buntis ako,” she said.

(As long as its not going to be that hard and it wont be too heavy for me, my OB said it’s okay. As long as it’s something I’ve been doing before, I can still do it even during my pregnancy.)

She also added that she wants some privacy during her pregnancy.

“Hindi naman po artista yung anak ko. Ako lang po at saka yung asawa ko. So, sana ibigay niyo sa akin yung pagkakataon na sa akin na lang,” she added.

Dingdong Dantes announced the pregnancy in an interview on “24 Oras” on Monday adding that the pregnancy was planned.
