A video of a woman showing off her pole dancing skills on board a Metropolitan Rapid Transit (MRT) train in Thailand has gone viral.

The video, which was uploaded to You Tube on January 25, has been viewed over 300,000 times, as of this posting.

In one report carried by a Thai local news source, the unidentified pole dancing woman was quoted as saying: “I was on my way to Pahurat. I didn’t think about it at first, and then

I saw the pole,” the woman was quoted in the accompanying caption to her video. Not many people were around too. With the spirit of a pole dancer, I threw my phone at a friend, so she could record me.”

“When I sat down again, nobody dared looking at me or said a word. What is that supposed to mean?!” the woman added.

Sport pole dancing – which involves many strenuous stunts and tricks – has caught on among lovers of dance and fitness as a way to strengthen your body, keep trim, while having fun in the process.
