QCPD arrests Top 1 and 2 Most Wanted Persons

MANILA — Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Director Police Senior Superintendent Joel D. Pagdilao announced the arrest of two Most Wanted persons in separate operations on Thursday (January 8) in Quezon City.

Pagdilao identified the arrested wanted persons as Erick Lacaba, 27 years old, single, jobless and resident of Area V, Sitio Cabuyao, Sauyo, Novaliches, Quezon City; and Mark Charlie Ang, 20 years old, jobless, and resident of F-413 Camata St., San Roque 2, Brgy. Pag-asa, Quezon City.

Pagdilao said both Lacaba and Ang have standing arrest warrants for robbery.

Lacaba, who is listed as Top 1 Most Wanted Person of Novaliches Police Station (PS-4) was arrested in his residence around 6:30 p.m. by police tracker team of PS-4.

Ang was also nabbed at about 5:00 p.m. by operatives of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) at Talipapa Palengke Street, San Roque 2, Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City.

He was listed as Top 2 in the Most Wanted Persons of Masambong Police Station (PS-2).

Meanwhile, Pagdilao said that aside from the arrest of Lacaba and Ang, the QCPD also recently arrested several other Most Wanted Persons listed among the Top 10 from the 12 police stations.

He identified those arrested as Ariel Ancheta and Jun Guiyab listed as Top 2 and 4, respectively, from the Anonas Police Station-9 for robbery; Ryan Bistro Top 4 of Novaliches Police Station-4 for robbery with homicide; Rumar Palos Top 4 of Kamuning Police Station-10 arrested for robbery, theft, and violation of R.A 9165; Danilo Ignacio Top 4 from Galas Police Station-11 for robbery; and Joel Domita Top 7 of Masambong Police Station-2 for robbery/hold-up.

He said no less than National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director PDIR Carmelo Valmoria ordered the conduct of relentless operations against those listed in the Most Wanted Person.

The arrest of the suspects is part of the QCPD’s continuous crime reduction program particularly with the implementation of “Oplan Lambat Sibat”.
