Jinggoy Estrada to undergo physical therapy

MANILA – Senator Jinggoy Estrada, who is currently detained as he faces plunder charges, left his detention cell in Camp Crame to undergo a physical therapy at the Cardinal Santos Memorial Hospital in San Juan City.

Estrada left the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center at 9:15 a.m. and was escorted to the hospital by an ambulance and several police vehicles.

Estrada was allowed by the Sandiganbayan on Tuesday, to undergo the therapy after he complained of shoulder pains.

His camp said he was suffering from mild bulging of the cervical spine and adhesive capsulitis.

The senator arrived at the hospital, 25 minutes later, according to PNP spokesperson Sr. Supt. Wilben Mayor.
