Video of Kobe Paras’ highlights featured in leading US website

MANILA – Former La Salle Juniors player Kobe Paras’s seems to have taken the United States by a storm as a mixtape video of his best plays was showcased in leading basketball website ballislife.com on Sunday.

The mixtape contains his plays during the 2014 The League by Compton Magic, one of the leading Amateur Athletic Union Programs in America that features possible talents in the West Coast.

Paras said that he was ecstatic upon learning about the feature. The same video website also produced mixtapes for NBA superstars LeBron James and Kevin Durant when they were still starting out.

“Blessed to have this mixtape! Thank you @ballislife @compton_magic,” Paras posted in his official Twitter account.

ballislife.com is the top website in the US that provides fans good insights about possible future NBA stars.

The 17-year-old Paras constantly shows great improvement under the guidance of Purple Ghosts’ coach and Compton Magic director Williams Middlebrooks who was also responsible for Paras’s recruitment by the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) coach Steve Alford.

Paras and the Purple Ghosts were scheduled to play against Diego Prep on Monday at the Staples Center.
