MANILA – Barangay Ginebra rips newbie Kia Sorentos, 87-55, for their second straight victory on Saturday at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

The Gin Kings’ twin towers Greg Slaughter and Japeth Aguilar led the team with the 16 points each to give them a solo lead in the tournament.

During the first half, the Gin Kings pulled all the defensive stops to keep the other team from scoring, thus the Sorentos ended the first two quarters with only 11 points.
