MRT-3 full line operations restored after flooding
MANILA — The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) 3 has resumed full line operations on Wednesday afternoon after limiting its operations a few hours earlier between North Avenue and Shaw stations only.
“MRT3 full line operations restored at around 4:36 pm,” MRT spokesperson Hernando Cabrerea said via Twitter.
MRT-3 had to impose half line operations between North Avenue and Shaw stations around 2:05 pm on the same day.
Cabrera explained that limiting the MRT-3 operations was due to “flooded tracks between Ayala and Buendia stations.
”
Reports showed that the flood was five to six feet deep. However, the water was immediately pumped out.
