MANILA, Philippines- KC Concepcion has expressed her full support for mom Sharon Cuneta, in reaction to the open letter that the Megastar posted on her Facebook page on Monday.

Concepcion added that the letter posted by Cuneta, in which she admitted having made the wrong career choices and taking herself for granted, was in all likelihood intended for the veteran star’s many fans.

As reported by philStar.com, Concepcion sent a text message to MJ Felipe, the content of which was broadcast on “Bandila” on Thursday. In the message, Cuneta’s daughter said her mother made no mention to her that she was going through any particular challenges or problems.

“Nag-usap kami ni Mom and wala naman syang na-mention sa akin na problem. Masaya nga yung talk nami sa phone nun,”she said.

As such, she feels the letter is Cuneta’s way of reaching out to her fans.

“I feel na that open letter is Mom’s way of letting her fans know that she is still here, and she still cares for them. Sa lahat ng ginagawa ng mom ko, she always remembers her fans and wants them to be happy. It’s her way of saying she has not forgotten them,” Concepcion disclosed.

Concepcion also spoke of her mothers’ struggle with managing her weight: “Her struggle to get back in shape is a long process, hindi naman ganun kadaling magpapayat to be honest,” she said.

The younger actress also had words of thanks to the people who show support for her mother. In specific, she thanked film and television actress Judy Ann Santos for all her efforts.

“I am very thankful that Ate Juday has always been there for my mom, sincere sya sa friendship nya and she’s part of our family.”

“Like Ate Juday, me, our family, friends and her loyal fans are all behind her 100 percent. Kaya nya yan!!!,” Concepcion enthused.
