As the showbiz industry prays for the fast and smooth recovery of Gary Valenciano from his recent open-heart surgery, the Mega star visited him to show her support.

Sharon Cuneta in a lengthy Instagram post, shared to her followers how her day went which included watching a movie and a trip to the hospital. Perhaps one of her day’s highlights is in the hospital but not only because of her personal visit to her doctor in regards to her recent lipoma surgery months ago, but for Gary.

Dubbed as the country’s Mr. Pure Energy, Sharon admitted that seeing Gary in the hospital “so low-batt” made her feel like tearing up.

He had that dang blockage in his heart and was still performing like that? Just wait till he’s performing again!” the Mega Star wrote.

“I love you my Kuya Gary. Get well asap (as soon as possible) ‘cause we miss you!” she added.

Gary is the Mega Star’s co-judge in the show “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids,” but apart from this professional setup, his wife Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano is the sister of Sharon’s husband Senator Kiko Pangilinan.

Angeli also posted on Facebook how thankful she was for Sharon’s visit as it “brought joy to her husband.

“She said the most beautiful prayer for Gary and we were so blessed with her sweet and touching gesture,” Angeli wrote.

Gary’s wife also added that no one was really allowed to visit her husband because of possible infection risks, but they made an exception for Sharon.
