Remains of ex-EB Babes member found

MANILA — Following the death of several students during their field trip in Bulacan, policemen announced the recovery of the remains of a former EB Babes member.

The victim, who was also a student of the Bulacan State University, was identified in a GMA news report as Maiko Bartolome, a former EB Babes member.

Bartolome is the 7th fatality in the Madlum River tragedy in San Miguel town, Bulacan.

Earlier reports indicted that more than 100 students were having a field trip in the area, but only three faculty officials attended.

The other fatalities were identified as Helena Marcelo, Michelle Ann Rose Bonzo, Sean Alejo, Mickel Alcantara, Madel Navarro and Janet Rivera.

Local authorities have ceased the operation of the River and is now conducting an investigation to dig deeper into the crime.
