The Philippine Canadian Inquirer, the first and only Filipino newspaper in Canada, is looking for competent, eager, and spirited JUNIOR WRITERS to join our growing team!

Job Description
– Provide at least ten (10) Philippine news articles daily (to be assigned by Head of Online Content)
– Write one to two original articles every week for the PCI newspaper
– Conduct assigned research, if needed
– Cover certain events, if needed

Qualifications
– Above average English skills (written and spoken)
– Good researching skills
– Journalism/writing experience a must
– Able to use WordPress proficiently
– Abreast with the latest news; innate interest in current events a plus
– Can create excellent output with minimal supervision
– Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
– Basic working knowledge of cameras a plus
– Willing to go the extra mile to deliver quality output
– Amenable to work in Makati City five (5) days a week
