A recent Social Weather Station (SWS) survey showed that Vice President Leni Robredo’s public satisfaction rating dropped by 11 percentage points.

In an in-person survey conducted on March 25-28 to 1, 200 Filipinos, 53 percent of the respondents said that they were satisfied with the Vice President’s performance while 27 percent felt the opposite. Nineteen percent were undecided.

Robredo received a net rating of +26 which is “moderate”. Net rating is the difference of the satisfied and dissatisfied net ratings.

Robredo’s +26 net satisfaction rating is the lowest she has gotten since she was first rated as Vice President. In September 2016, she received a net satisfaction rating of +49 (good). By the end of 2016, her rating slid to +37, a percentage still considered as “good”.

Robredo’s camp interpreted the Vice President’s lower net satisfaction rating as a reminder for her to “reach out” to more Filipinos.

“These results are a steady reminder that there are more families and communities to reach out to,” Georgina Hernandez, Spokesperson for the Vice President said in a statement.

“We take every survey as a continuing challenge to do better and make a bigger difference in the lives of the marginalized,” she added.

“We are grateful for the continued trust of our fellow Filipinos in the recent SWS satisfaction ratings. The support of the majority is an encouragement to Vice President Leni Robredo, who is working with communities and partners to address poverty around the country,” Hernandez said.
