Ex-president Estrada wins 2nd term as Manila mayor
MANILA–Former president and incumbent Mayor Joseph “Erap” Ejercito Estrada was proclaimed as the duly-elected Mayor of Manila on Tuesday.
Estrada garnered a total votes of 283,140 while his closest rival former mayor Alfredo S.
Lim earned 280,464 votes and Amado Bagatsing with 167,829.
Also proclaimed as the duly-elected Vice Mayor of Manila is Honey Lacuna who earned a total votes of 268,969 as compared to her closest rival Ali Atienza with 221,037 votes and Benjamin Asilo with 137,388 votes.
This is the second term for Estrada as the mayor of the country’s capital city after he defeated Lim in the May 2013 local elections.
