Anne Curtis confronted Sam Concepcion at the birthday celebration of Vice Ganda last March 31.

This was confirmed by the 21-year-old singer-actor at the press conference of his new endorsement recently.

“There was a confrontation that happened. But you know, I understand where she’s coming from and nagkaintindihan na kami ni Anne.” ( and Anne and I have already an understanding.)

Sam’s statement was in contrary to what Anne said in her previous interviews. It will be recalled that the 29-year-old host-actress refuted rumors that she confronted the young actor. Instead, she explained that she just reminded Concepcion to take care of her younger sister, Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

The “Dyesebel” lead star even dared her social media followers to ask Sam about what really happened last March 31.

Sam and Jasmine

At the press conference, it was also revealed by Sam that he is still courting Jasmine.

When asked if there’s a misunderstanding between him and Anne’s sister that triggered the “Its Showtime” host’s outburst, he said, “Syempre, ate yun eh. Ako din naman, I have a little sister. Siyempre I will also look out for my little sister.”

( Of course, she is the older sister of Jasmine. Me, too, I have a little sister. Of course, I will also look out for my little sister.)

He also dismissed rumors that he is courting “Mirabella” co-star Julia Barretto.

“There’s no truth to that. Sana po hindi na lumaki ng lumaki ang issue at magkaroon pa ng ibang stories na lumabas kasi nga, it involves my relationship with all of them,” Sam explained.

(I hope that the issue will not be magnified and produce other stories because it involves my relationship with all of them.)

In a report posted on “Interkaksyon,” Sam was asked why Anne denied that she confronted him.

“Hindi ko alam…kasi minsan, malilito ka na rin sa mga nangyayari…sa dami nang mga lumalabas,” he replied. ( I don’t know… Sometimes, you will get confused with all that’s happening…with the many angles that are coming out).

Some insiders added that after the confrontation, Sam was comforted by other cast members of “It’s Showtime”.

Though indirect, Sam confirmed it.

“There were real, true friends who came with me…para ano lang…friends who have always been there for me,” he said.
