De Lima says she’s included in LP senatorial lineup for 2016

MANILA — Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila M. De Lima on Monday confirmed that she is included in the senatorial lineup of the Liberal Party (LP) for the elections next year.
However, De Lima clarified that she is just waiting for the official announcement of the LP which is expected the soonest possible time.
In an ambush interview, De Lima said that she was already informed by LP standard bearer Manuel “Mar” Roxas II that her name is included in the administration ticket.
Although she has not yet resigned from her post, De Lima earlier said that she has recommended to President Benigno S. Aquino III her possible replacement as DOJ Secretary last week.
