‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ returns in September, to air on GMA-7

Vice Ganda’s late-night comedy talk show “Gandang Gabi, Vice” is returning to television in September, more than six years after it ended its original run.

ABS-CBN Chief Operating Officer Cory Vidanes announced the comeback during the company’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting on Wednesday, August 19.

The new season of “Gandang Gabi, Vice,” or GGV, will air on GMA-7, iWant and Kapamilya Channel. It will also mark the first time the program will be shown on GMA Network.

“‘Gandang Gabi Vice,’ the new season, will come back next month on GMA, iWant, and Kapamilya Channel,” Vidanes said.

GGV first premiered in 2011 and became one of ABS-CBN’s popular Sunday-night programs, known for Vice Ganda’s celebrity interviews, comedy segments and games. The show ended its original run in 2020.

The comeback follows Vice Ganda’s signing of a new contract with ABS-CBN earlier this month, maintaining his ties with the network.

Vice also continues to host “It’s Showtime,” which currently airs on GMA-7.

ABS-CBN has yet to announce the exact premiere date and other details for the new season.
