Jollibee featured in KATSEYE’s Animal music video

PHILIPPINES – Jollibee was featured in KATSEYE’s newest music video Animal, released on July 24. In one scene, the girls’ short-haired alter egos are seen eating meals from the fast-food chain.

The company’s Chickenjoy with its signature gravy and fries is spotted on a table while the members are having a meeting. The placement lasts for more than five seconds.

Based on available records, Jollibee appears to be the first Filipino-owned fast-food brand to secure a major product placement in a music video by a global girl group.

Animal is KATSEYE’s second single from its EP, WILD. The global girl group also includes Filipina member Sophia Laforteza.

The video shows the five members embracing their wild side. Many fans believe the concept encourages viewers to embrace confidence and individuality.

Additionally, the music video features actress Demi Moore, whose surprise cameo had not been revealed before its release.

Meanwhile, Manon Bannerman remains absent from the music video following her hiatus from the group’s activities.
