CANADA – Canada Men’s National Soccer Team showed incredible willpower and sportsmanship as they ended their FIFA World Cup 2026 journey in a match against Morocco.

The game ultimately ended with Canada being eliminated, but this doesn’t mean that the team is deterred. After all, the team has achieved heights never before reached; not only did they score their first World Cup win against Qatar on June 18, but the team also made it to Round of 16 in the FIFA World up for the first time in history.

The cherry on top of all of these successes is that all of this was achieved as Canada co-hosts the games with the United States and Mexico (also for the first time in history).

The government of British Columbia show their patriotism in a recent statement on social media, thanking the people who have supported the team’s continuous efforts to reach these heights. “The energy in communities in BC and across the country show the power of sport to bring people together, creating a sense of pride and connection from coast to coast to coast,” they declare. “Thank you to the players, coaches, and support staff for representing Canada with heart, determination and pride. We couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve accomplished, including reaching the Round of 16 for the first time in the history of the Canada Men’s National Soccer Team.”

Mark Carney, the Prime Minister of Canada, adds, “Nothing but pride for Canada today. An incredible run and a sign of what’s to come. Thank you to our team, the fans, and everyone who made this World Cup showing our best yet.”
