UNITED KINGDOM – According to released documents from England and Wales, former One Direction singer Liam Payne passed away without leaving a valid will. As a result, under local laws, Bear Grey Payne, who is only nine years old, is expected to inherit his entire estate by adulthood, which is worth millions.
He passed away at the age of 31 in October 2024 after tragically falling from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a death that shocked many worldwide. However, the documents later revealed the scale of the financial resources the star left behind.
The court shared that Payne’s estate was valued at around $38 million before deductions. After debts, taxes, and legal expenses were settled, the net value was estimated at around $32 million.
Because the singer was unmarried and has no will, inheritance laws give priority to his only son. Meanwhile, Bear’s mother Cheryl Cole and lawyer Richard Mark Bray have been assigned as administrators of the estate, which is hoped to be held in trust until Bear reaches legal age.
