PASIG CITY — The Pasig City government led an inauguration ceremony on Monday, March 23, for its five new electric minibuses that will be used for the city’s Libreng Sakay initiatives.
Mayor Vico Sotto said these transport units’ arrival is just in time as oil price hikes continue to disrupt the public transport system.
According to the Pasig City Public Information Office, each of the mini buses has a seating capacity of 22 people and can accommodate an additional 8 standing passengers.
The Pasig City Transportation Development and Management Office will have these units for their Libreng Sakay initiatives in a single route for now, from Caruncho Ave. to the Temporary Pasig City Hall and vice versa.
