KPop Demon Hunters win 2 Oscars

CALIFORNIA, USA — KPop Demon Hunters won awards for “Best Animated Feature Film” and “Best Original Song” categories in the 98th Academy Awards on Sunday (Pacific Time).

The two Oscars wins add to the 2025 film’s accolades from various prestigious award-giving bodies for its captivating music and animation, including the Grammy Awards, Critics’ Choice Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Annie Awards.

The film is also known for its remarkable title as the most-watched original title in Netflix’s history, with over 500 million views.

Ahead of the Academy Awards, Netflix announced that a sequel to the multi-award-winning film is in the works, with no release date yet.
