MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has accomplished the EDSA Busway Rehabilitation’s first phase on January 4, providing convenience to passengers as work and classes resume in the first week of 2026.
Following the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez expressed his fulfillment over the completion of the asphalt overlay in the inner lane of the EDSA Busway from Roxas Boulevard to Orense in Makati City.
In cooperation with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the PHP 6-billion EDSA Rehabilitation Project is reported to run until May 2026.
