PBBM names new chief legal counsel, other Palace officials

MANILA – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed lawyer Anna Liza Logan as the new Chief Presidential Legal Counsel, Malacañang announced on Tuesday.
Logan replaced former Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, who passed away on Nov. 13 at the age of 101.
Logan previously served as the Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal Affairs.
She also has extensive experience in civil and criminal litigation, family, labor and human settlements adjudication commission cases, corporate and commercial practice for financial technology companies, real estate development entities and non-governmental organizations.
Logan worked with various law firms, including Logan Masukat Ronulo Huang, Marcos Ochoa Serapio and Tan, and Agabin Verzola Hermoso Layaoen & De Castro.
Castro also announced the appointment of lawyers Maria Luwalhati Dorotan Tiuseco and Danielle Marie Rieza-Culangen as Senior Deputy Executive Secretary and Deputy Executive Secretary for General Administration, respectively.
Joseph Irvin Obenza was named Deputy Executive Secretary for Financial Affairs.
Lawyers Jesse Hermogenes Andres, Erwin Sta. Ana, and Alemar Mosquito will also join the Office of the Executive Secretary, respectively serving as Deputy Executive Secretary, Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Assistant Secretary, Castro said.
