Travel app offers ‘back-to-school’ promo on PH flight bookings

MANILA – Travel app AirAsia MOVE is offering up to 15 percent discount on domestic flight bookings as part of its back-to-school program.

The discount is available from July 8 to 11, on non-AirAsia flights to several domestic destinations, for travel from July 15 to Nov. 30.

“Our back-to-school program is designed to provide significant savings for families, allowing students to focus on their studies without the added stress of travel expenses,” AirAsia MOVE Philippines head of Travel, Weng Rivera was quoted in a news release.

Rivera added that the company hopes the savings from the trips could be useful to cover some school expenses.

Anyone can avail of the discount without the need for a promo code.

Based on the poster announcement, partner airlines for this initiative include Sunlight Air, Royal Air, and AirSWIFT.

Flights from Iloilo, Davao, Tacloban, Bacolod and Puerto Princesa going to Manila, as well as from Manila going to Cebu and Dumaguete can be booked under the program.

The app’s chief executive officer, Nadia Omer, said their founder has always emphasized the value of education.

The app makes bookings more accessible and affordable, Omer said.
