3 suspect charged over Zambo car bomb attack

MANILA — Three suspected accomplices of an Abu Sayyaf bandit were charged with murder and frustrated murder charges over the car bomb attack in Zamboanga city last Friday.
Hadja Babylyn Jul Ismael Muallam, Isharly Muallam and Aldamer Sahibuddin were charged in the city’s prosecutor’s office according to Superintendent Ariel Huesca, spokesman for the city police.

The car explosion occurred near a bus terminal in Barangay Guiwan and left two persons dead while 54 others were wounded in the incident.

Huesca said the suspects were initially invited for questioning hours after the bomb exploded.
They were found at a house in Barangay San Roque, the alleged assembly house of the improvised explosive device.
