PSEi continues to gain, steady at 7000 mark
MANILA – The Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) continues to be aggressive after increasing for a third session on Monday due to rebounding crude futures.
PSEi added 13.64 points or 0.19 to reach 7,139.27 mark. Stocks also climbed throughout the region.
The main leaders include mining/oil index which increased by 1.
76 percent. Meanwhile, the property counter decreased by -0.70 percent.
The value turnover for the day is at P13.
2 with 107 advancers over 67 decliners and 36 unchanged stocks.
Both DMCI and MPI increased by more than 3 percent. FGEN also added 1.4 percent to PSEi’s gain. Other companies that performed well include PLDT, GI, EDC, BDO, Megaworld, and JG Summit.
Other gainers outside of PSEi include RFM and Max’s Group with 5.86 percent and 7.57 percent increase, respectively.
Meanwhile, Bloomberry went down by -2.75 percent, as well as ALI and JFC by 1 percent.
