Ex-PMA cadet files third motion at SC
MANILA — For the third time, the camp of dismissed Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Cadet First Class Aldrin Cudia on Thursday asked the Supreme Court (SC) to expedite the decision on his case.
In the third motion for early resolution filed on Thursday, Cudia asked the SC to rule on the merist of his case so that he can continue his studies.
The motion said that in each day that passes, the future of Cudia is being hampered, particularly his search for a job and to pursue a higher education because it is stated in his “transcript of records” that he is on an ”indefinite suspension”.
It argued that it cannot be denied the that Cudia is an intelligent student and until his case is not resolved, he cannot pursue his career.
The camp of Cudia believes that only the SC has the power to remedy the situation he is now into.
Cudia, through the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), went to the SC on Thursday and asked that it directs the inclusion of his name in the list of graduates of the PMA “Siklab Diwa Class of 2014” and bestow upon him the honors that he deserves.
However, Cudia is now “open” to try his luck in other fields outside of the PMA.
The PMA Honors Committee earlier imposed a dismissal order against Cudia for allegedly “lying” when he came two minutes late in his class.
