This is very alarming. We all know that dengue is just around the corner and are always ready to spread the virus that they are carrying. It is more complicated during rainy season and are more contagious. Prevention is better than cure, and cleanliness is the key to destroy the mosquito causing dengue virus.

This terrifies me a bit. We all should be. 83% is no joke. Rainy season is here na and rainy season is the perfect time for them [mosquitoes] to reproduce since in rainy season, stagnant water could be everywhere and this is where they breed. We can see here that climate is very crucial in dengue transmission and we cannot control climate. It is beyond our capabilities. It’s inevitable. But there are actually some ways we can do to prevent ourselves getting infected by DENGUE. Such as using insect repellent, wearing protective clothing like long sleeves and long pants. Cleaning our sorrounding helps too. We should always remember that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. So we must do our best to prevent the spread of dengue.
