Covid-19 daily cases average for June 20-26 up by 53%
MANILA – The country’s daily average of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases went up by 53 percent from June 20 to 26, the Department of Health (DOH) reported Monday.
From 436 per day from June 13 to 19, the number of Covid-19 cases reached 662 daily from June 20 to 26.
The latest case bulletin showed that there were 4,634 new cases and 51 verified deaths in the recent week.
For the same period, 14 cases were added to the tally of severe and critical infections, which went up to 591 from the previous week’s 554.
Only 14.9 percent or 391 out of the 2,628 intensive care unit (ICU) beds are in use, while 18.1 percent or 4,034 of 22,251 non-ICU beds are utilized.
To date, about 70,358,612 million or 78.17 percent of the country’s target population (90,005,357) are vaccinated against Covid-19, including 77.48 percent of 8,721,357 senior citizens.
As of June 26, a total of 14,947,878 have received booster shots out of the total 70,358,612 who are fully vaccinated.

we are almost 80% vaccinated we should not look anymore how many positives but hospitality rate and deaths nalang. its like testing flu patients napaka dami ng na vaccinated move on!

When deaths just became numbers forgotten the next day.Let’s just be responsible and do the basic prevention of acquiring the virus,after all it’s the best thing that we can do because Covid looks as if it will stay longer than our lifetime.
