MANILA – The camp of Vice President Jejomar Binay on Thursday justified the reason why the Magdalo soldiers were seen on his pig farm in Batangas.

According to Cavite Gov. Jonvic Remulla, Binay had given them jobs after the failed Oakwood siege and the Manila Peninsula Hotel takeover.

“After the attempted coup d’etat at Oakwood and Peninsula, soldiers who lost their jobs after what they did went to him to ask for help.

Binay received information that Senator Antonio Trillanes III was planning to show photos of the Magdalo soliders seen in Binay’s piggery.

“Some of them were assigned to guard the piggery,” Remulla said.

“Come, I will help you. Work for me so you can support your families,” Remulla added, quoting Binay.
