MANILA – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) main office in Mandaluyong City will be closed from Thursday to Friday this week for the implementation of preventive measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

“All offices of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) and other government agencies located at the Blas F. Ople Building, Ortigas Avenue corner Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (Edsa) will be closed on August 13-14 for implementation of preventive measures against Covid-19 to ensure the safety of the public and our employees,” the POEA said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

It added that clients who have scheduled appointments on the said dates will be accommodated once the agency resumes operations on August 17.

“We request your cooperation and understanding as we battle jointly against the coronavirus pandemic,” it added.
