You have to be a strong woman to be able to grab the world by the lapels. A strong woman stands up for herself. Strong women are not afraid to share their thoughts, ideas and beliefs regardless of what others think and feel. Strong women speak their hearts and minds — unapologetically. Strong women respect themselves enough to stand up for themselves, for the causes they believe in, and the welfare of others.

Strong women aren’t princesses waiting in the Tower for handsome knights to save them. Strong women have long left the Tower a long time ago and learned to save themselves. Time waits for no man and neither does a strong and independent woman. If a strong woman wants a partner — she joins Tinder, Bumble or Match and selects the right partner. She doesn’t wait at home for love to discover her — she boldly ventures out and discovers love on her own terms.

Strong and independent women never play the role of a victim. Bad things happen in life. There are big bad wolves out there. There are hungry sharks preying out there. However, strong and independent women don’t allow struggle and adversity cramp their style. They don’t let misfortunes define them. They assess and accept the predicament they’re in and bravely find a way out of it. Strong and independent women don’t fall into the negative trap thinking and blaming others. They bounce back after a fall and keep moving forward.

Strong and independent women don’t need constant validation from others or from social media. Strong and independent women aren’t attention seekers. Their daily lives don’t revolve around how many likes or hearts they get on their Facebook or Instagram posts. They are way too busy living their daily lives to the fullest.

They are too busy getting things done and making things happen. Strong and independent women have high self-esteem.

A strong woman is not afraid to take calculated risks. She’d rather take the risk than lose a chance. Taking calculated risks to achieve goals require courage to face the fear of uncertainties. Strong and independent women know that no matter what the outcome is — either way — they grow through the process and become more resilient and confident. They know full well that when their lives are one with risks — they are living, thriving, learning, and experiencing. Strong women know that a life without risks is not life at all. It’s nothing.

Strong and independent women live their lives with purpose. They have a plan and a mission and they set goals to achieve. They know how to identify their strengths and talents. They utilize their strengths and talents and therefore are less stressed and living more fulfilled lives. They love what they do and they are passionate about what they do in life. They stick to their core values. We are here in this world for some undetermined period of time. During that time — strong and independent women know how to determine what are the important things that give happiness, fulfillment, and meaning in their lives.

Women who know how to grab the world by the lapels get things done and aren’t afraid to be decisive. They invest on themselves. She is highly motivated and generates her own enthusiasm and energy. She is not afraid to walk off the beaten path. She leads rather than follows. Strong women are proactive rather than reactive. Strong women slay their goals!

Strong women are the first to encourage, support, and empower other women. They are the ones you see building one another up instead of tearing each other down. Strong women want to see other women succeed. They like to see other women win. Strong and independent women stand with each other — not against each other. Confident women don’t hate on other women; they empower other women. Strong women lift each other up. Real queens fix each other’s crowns.
