MANILA — The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) will work closely together with various religious groups in monitoring project implementation by the local government units (LGUs) that use taxpayers’ money.

In 2015, the national government has allocated more than P20.3 billion anti-poverty projects.

“We are calling for stakeholders’ support as well as vigilance to ensure that the projects are implemented accordingly,” said Roxas during the launch of the Comprehensive Local Integration Program.

Roxas shared that some projects of the LGUs will include potable water supply in remote areas in the provinces.
