MANILA — Jessica Lucila “Gigi” Reyes, former aide of Senator Juan Ponce Enrile is asking the Sandiganbayan to allow her to bring laptop computer, internet connection and a printer at her detention cell.

“With her detention and medical condition… Reyes is already handicapped in assisting her counsel prepare her defense for trial… Allowing Reyes to use laptop computer with printer and internet connection while in detention will mitigate this handicap,” the motion read.

Her lawyers also cited the case in the United States where inmates are allowed to use computers.
