Yep, you read that right! The Big Boss’s (or as we also know as Captain Lucas) come back to our small screens is nearing as GMA-7 finally released the official trailer of the much-awaited Philippine adaptation of the 2016 popular K-drama Descendants of the Sun (DOTS).

On Sunday, December 22, the network dropped the two-minute trailer that thrilled the hearts of the fans of the original version who were patiently waiting for it.

Fans was struck by kilig over Dingdong Dantes and Jennylyn Mercardo’s chemistry, who were playing the lead roles of Captain Lucas Manalo or Big Boss, and Dra. Maxine Dela Cruz respectively, as the trailer showed an on-point PH version of the famous scenes from the drama that swooned every K-drama fan’s heart.

The trailer also showed the heartbreaking scene from the side-story of Sergeant Diego Ramos and Lieutenant Moira Defensor, who were played by Rocco Nacino and Jasmine Curtis-Smith.

Of course DOTS wouldn’t be complete without the action and fights scenes, and the hospital emergencies and operations scenes that were also included on the released trailer.

Almost every K-drama fan is looking forward to finally seeing the PH adaptation of DOTS on their televisions screens, however, GMA-7 hasn’t announced the official date of the airing of the drama. But one sure thing is that it will be aired on the first quarter of 2020.
