Happy birthday my love! You truly are a gift from God. Many see you as a beautiful and fragile person but most don’t know your inner strength and conviction . I love you for making me laugh, for making many of our friends laugh. You are one of the funniest persons I know. I love the way you tell me and make us feel how much you love me & Juliana. I know you can easily get lost bec of your bad sense of direction and maybe that is one of the reasons why the good Lord made you marry me so that you won’t get lost anymore. And so you won’t ride the wrong car bec all cars look the same to you. I love traveling the three of us. We spend endless hours just talking, eating, laughing and making beautiful memories. But I also realize that you and Juliana always laugh at me every time I forget about people’s names and who they are and what they do. I love my life with you and I pray that we can spend more hundreds of years together in our lifetime (hurot na ang friends natin if that happens!) #youaremyonetrulysexywifey #grabihaimonglawasdaymurajudtwentyfiveyearsoldlang #shecansleepfor10to12hoursstraight #ikawyungisangtsinelasngbuhayko

Twenty years of tying the knot of their lives forever, Richard “Goma” Gomez still cannot get enough of his wife, and this was translated in the sweetest words only a man in love can write.

For Luci Torres-Gomez’s 44th birthday, Richard wrote his message through an Intagram post on December 11, Wednesday.

“You truly are a gift from God,” Goma opens his heartfelt message, describing his beloved to have the inner strength and conviction that many people know of. Aside from this, the matinee idol continues to spill more things that only he would know.

“I love you for making me laugh, for making many of our friends laugh. You are one of the funniest persons I know,” he writes, saying that Lucy is mostly seen by many as “a beautiful and fragile person.”

Just to add more to reasons-why-I-love-you-list, he says, “I love the way you tell me and make us feel how much you love me and Juliana,” referring to their only daughter.

Ants being sweet-scavengers may already be embarrassed to all this sweetness, but just to be sure, Richard adds more.

“I know you can easily get lost because of your bad sense of direction and maybe that is one of the reasons why the good Lord made you marry me so that you won’t get lost anymore,” he continues.

Goma, still overflowing with feelings for Lucy, prays that he “can spend more hundreds of years together” in their lifetime.

Just to poke fun on his wife’s beauty and other lovable traits, Richard also used the hashtags #youaremyonetrulysexywifey, #grabihaimonglawasdaymurajudtwentyfiveyearsoldlang (Your body is like a 25-year-old’s), #shecansleepfor10to12hoursstraight, and #ikawyungisangtsinelasngbuhayko (You are the other pair of slippers in my life).

Netizens react to Goma’s words as if they are celebrating a newly-wed couple’s first months.

Instagram user @geangerspice could not contain her feelings as she types, “Why am I crying?”

Seemingly replying to a portion of Richard’s message, @morenoeditha writes, “That’s so much love… God gave her the best direction when she chose you for forever.”

Meanwhile, @macokaki says, “Grabe, sweetness overload. ‘Pag ako sinabihan ng asawa ko ng ganyang bati sa birthday ko, pwede na ako mamatay (If my spouse tells that kind of greeting for my birthday, I can die).”

This February, a photo of Lucy became viral when she captioned it with, “I never knew this photo existed until I became his wife.”

Lucy wrote the story when she first met Richard during a commercial shoot when she was 18 years old. She described it to be a hot morning with a cool wind blowing when she stayed under a shade of the tree.

“And somewhere far away from the crowd, there was Richard —— tall, dark, handsome, and perfect, in khaki shorts and a shirt, his professional camera with him. I looked towards him, and seeing that his camera was pointed somewhere in my direction I smiled for him, never mind if I did not know for sure it was I who he saw in those lens,” Lucy recalled.

After their marriage in 1998, she found the said photo in their home as she was rummaging through their things. Turns out that Richard was secretly taking photos of Lucy back then, already enamored by her.

Kinunan ko ‘yon during the first shooting ng commercial namin. Kinukunan ko lang siya pero I never showed that photograph until kinasal kami (I took that photo during the first shooting of our commercial. I was just taking shots of her but I never showed that photograph until we got married),” Goma revealed in an interview with Philstar.

Aside from this love story that seemed to come out of a movie with a stunning actor and actress, Goma continues to be vocal on his love for Lucy as he frequently posts photos of her and them together with carefully written captions.
