The “Queen of All Media” is leaving the country today, September 29, along with his son to fly to Singapore for her medical treatment.

This development came after she revealed to the public why she was not active on her social media accounts for the past few weeks — that she lost weight due to “financial abuse” and ‘betrayal’ by someone she “had complete trust and faith in.” This person, Kris earlier said, has earned ‘millions’ from running her production company, Kris Aquino Cojuangco Productions (KCAP), and negotiating her endorsements.

In a statement by lawyer Sigfrid Fortun that was posted by Kris on her Instagram account, Kris will be flying to Singapore as the medical tests she took here in the country previously need a “more comprehensive” set which are not available right now in the Philippines.

“Her recent weight loss prompted her to proactively have some tests done and she was advised by two Philippine physicians to consult with an expert in this field of medicine to have the best knowledge and care to protect her health with all needed medication and treatment,” Sigfrid said.

Kris is currently taking maintenance medicine for her hypertension, severe allergies, and migraine.

In her caption, the media personality wholeheartedly thanked those who prayed for her to get better. However, she did not further disclose her current state of health in order for her to protect his sons, Joshua and Bimb, from more stress.

“They have cried more tears than children should ever have to,” Kris said.

“I shall courageously give my ALL for kuya Josh & Bimb to be assured that the only parent present in their lives, can & will continue to love, care, and provide for them for many healthier & happier years to come,” she added.

The 47-year-old actress further said that neither names nor entities will be mentioned on her feed because she will also disable her comment section upon the advice of her lawyer.

Regarding her business partner, Kris said her attorneys will take necessary legal actions on the matter. She also instructed them to safeguard all her hard-earned savings and investments for her children’s well-being.

“Fortun Narvasa and Divina Law will uphold my firm belief that JUSTICE is a right every law-abiding Filipino should protect, defend, and fight for,” she stressed, adding that these two law firms have no connection with the administration of her brother, former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III.

While still not disclosing the name of the person and “his brother” who deceived her, the actress said that their attempt to alter facts by “deceitfully and maliciously attacking my family’s honor & credibility” did not take her down. Instead, their bad intention even strengthened her resolve to use all legal means for the “truth to win.”

There is no exact date on when will Kris will be coming back to the country, but she will leave Singapore after completing her medical evaluation. She is also expected to fulfill her work commitments “at the soonest possible time.”
