Robredo hits Duterte’s ‘incompetent’ remark

Published

on

The various problems hounding the country is where the attention of President Rodrigo Duterte should be, Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo said.

The Vice-president believes that Duterte better re-direct his focus on addressing the challenges faced by the Philippine economy instead of evaluating her capabilities and slamming God.

Duterte on Tuesday clarified that he is not leaving his post as the leader of the country because such move would pave the way to Robredo replacing him. The chief executive said he is not into that idea because Robredo is not ready to govern a country due to her “incompetence.”

But the Vice-president, straightly addressed Duterte’s remarks saying: “I don’t want to dignify his statement, but I just want to say that instead of insulting me and God, he should just work on problems concerning our economy.”
