Gigi Reyes bank deposit from P20M now at P6,700

MANILA — From over P20 million, the bank deposit of the former chief of staff of plunder case respondent, Senator Juan Ponce Enrile was reduced to only P6,700.

According to the records from the Manila City Regional Trial Court Branch 22 , Gigi Reyes’ Security Bank account with number 05122-324683 is down to almost seven thousand.

Earlier reports showed that the said account was credited with P21, 213 million on June 2010.

It was credited after John Raymond de Asis, an employee of Janet Lim Napoles, the alleged pork barrel scam mastermind, has allegedly delivered P30 million to Reyes.

The said amount was sourced from JLN Corporation which is run by Napoles. 

Reyes’ East West Bank account currently has P511, 522. This is despite earlier reports that similar amounts have also been deposited to her East West bank account.

Meanwhile, Associate Solicitor Isar Pepito said in a Philippine Daily Inquirer report that the investigation on the assets which may be included in the forfeiture proceeding is ongoing.
